Uploading Certificates
Certificates are required for certain booking types as proof of completion. This guide explains firstly, how to identify which certificate is required and secondly, how to submit the document.
Step 1: Identify which Certificate is Required
There are 2 types depending on the format of your booking:
- Course completion certificate
Exam completion certificate
If you book online self-paced training, an instructor-led course, an ad hoc course, or a bursary then you will need to upload the course certificate once the training is completed.
For exam bookings, or any booking that includes an exam, you will need to upload an exam certificate.
If your booking is for training and an exam, such as an instructor-led course + exam, then you will need to upload both the course completion and the exam completion certificates.
It is important to upload your certificates as soon as you receive them because the debt associated with your booking can only start depleting once the booking has been completed and your required certificates have been uploaded and approved.
Step 2: Upload Your Certificate
As soon as you have your completion document available just follow these 3 easy steps:
- Login to your Learn dashboard and go to the “My Bookings” list on your Home page to find the booking that corresponds to the certificate you need to submit. If the certificate is due the status of the booking will be Action Required:
- Click anywhere on the relevant booking to open the booking details window. You will now see the upload field for your required documents:
- The certificate upload field shows you the type of document that is required. Click in the field to select the document from your device and then click to upload the file.
After the document is successfully uploaded you will see that it is now awaiting approval:
That's all there is to it! Once the document has been approved you will be notified by email 😊
