Cancellation Terms

If you are no longer able to complete the training or certification you have booked, no problem! You can always cancel any booking straight from your dashboard. When cancelling it is important to bear in mind that a cancellation penalty may apply.


When cancelling your booking there are 2 possible scenarios:

  1. Cancel
  2. Cancel with penalty

  1. Cancel

You are eligible for free cancellation and there will be no penalty.


  1. Cancel with Penalty

Free cancellation is no longer possible, so, if you proceed with cancelling you will be liable to work back the full AOD associated with the booking.


The cancellation terms differ slightly depending on the delivery method of the booking. See the terms outlined below.


Instructor-led Courses:

  • Cancellation timeframes are course accreditor specific, and are standardised per accreditor.
  • These timeframes typically range between 7 days and 21 days.
  • You will be eligible for free cancellation if you cancel your booking before the specified cancellation window has closed.
  • If the free cancellation window has already closed then you will be liable for working back the full AOD of the course should you elect to cancel.
  • You will not incur any penalties should the vendor cancel the course for any reason.

Online Self-Paced:

  • Upon the booking request being approved, free cancellation is no longer possible. The booking request is approved when the vendor accepts the new online booking request.
  • You will be liable for working back the full AOD of the booking should you elect to cancel after the booking is approved. 
  • You will not incur any penalties should the vendor cancel the course for any reason.

Learn Vendor - Online and Onsite Exams:

  • Upon the exam booking being approved, free cancellation is no longer possible.
  • You will be liable for working back the full AOD of the booking should you elect to cancel after the booking is approved. 
  • You will not incur any penalties should the vendor cancel the course for any reason.

Request Payment - Purchase Order Payment:

  • Once the vendor's invoice has been approved and scheduled for payment, free cancellation is no longer possible.
  • You will be liable for working back the full AOD should you elect to cancel after the Invoice is approved. 

Request Payment - Virtual Card Payment:

  • Once the booking is confirmed and the card is issued, free cancellation is no longer possible.
  • The Virtual Cards cannot be refunded. Once the card is issued, you will be iable for working back the full AOD if you cancel the booking.


How to know if cancellation is Free:

Open up the relevant booking in the My Bookings list on your dashboard. Then scroll over the menu icon (3 dots) in the top right of your booking window and click on "Cancel booking":


A modal will pop up where you will need to confirm the cancellation. Here you can clearly see if you qualify for free cancellation or not. If there is going to be a penalty applied you will first need to select the checkbox to acknowledge that you are aware of the penalty.
